The shop is clean and inviting. Lawanda sends messages via text and email to address questions and concerns prior to your visit.The consultation fee is worth the $30.00 as she fully explains pricing as she accesses your hair. I decided to find a different shop for many reasons. First, they are too far from me. Next, I didn’t want to schedule an appointment with Lawanda only to have someone else do my hair as she stated that they are like a family and work together and several people are skilled and more than one person may be doing my hair. Lastly , there are 12 stations in one spacious room and I prefer a more intimate setting.

G (Guirlande) was a freaking GODSEND! She saved my hair from compete and utter disaster. I was days away from shaving my entire head because postpartum depression got the best of this curly headed girl. G spent 12 entire hours on detangling, washing, and braiding my hair into a protective style. She NEVER ONCE made me feel judged or embarrassed for the state my hair was in. She listened to me, she talked to me-told me some of her story. She is and was the best hair stylist I’ve ever had. I will follow this woman to any hair salon. She has made a client and a friend for life!

These ladies are divine intervention! I didn’t know what I was going to do had family coming in from out of town and they literally saved us. They have great prices great service and when I tell you every stylist is skilled to the max everyone That got up out of each stylist chair with studio ready! I was in and out literally they are the best and this will be my place to go to for life one stop shop! After meeting Lindyn, I got an amazing wash, and she absolutely rocked my hair‼️ She was so sweet and knowledgeable about what she does. I definitely found my stylist when I’m in the area! I added a pedicure (late) and the tech wasn’t due to come in until later. They called Tina and she came right in and performed art on my toes, gave an amazing pedicure. I brought my two year old son to house of locs and braids and Janae and when I say she is good with kids I mean she is great with kids. She was not only so patient with him, but this was only his third time getting his hair braided and we were able to leave the room while he got his braided and he did not even cry once. The first two times he wouldn’t sit still for anything but Janae was able to make him feel comfortable enough where he sat there so calmly.
